Invest on the renewable energies, as shown by the recent economic choices of big European countries, the United States and even China, will make possible the rapid and sustainable exit from actual crisis with benefits for the economy and improved environmental sustainability.
Technologies are ready, are now available, tested and guaranteed. Nevertheless there is some delay with respect to the potential that the industry would have.
The subject of this summer school is the main problem of XXI century. The high cost of crude oil, and the uncertain duration of fossil fuels have made renewable energy a strategic choice necessary for families and businesses that want to be ready for the future.
We noticed the need of better training to promote awareness of renewable energy sources and promote their use. Residenze Solari 2009, that means solar houses and buildings is a residential Summer School in the city of Pisa. It is proposed to address the issue and examine both technical and administrative level and for putting people in a position to act immediately on its territory to disseminate the best technologies. Residenze Solari 2009 is a project unique of its kind, a full immersion summer school and all inclusive for all those who want to expand their knowledge in this rapidly expanding field.
The Summer School Residenze Solari 2009 has the following objectives:
- to know all sources of renewable energy and ways to exploit it at the best
- disseminate knowledge of plants, their operation and use of guidelines for
- analyze the resources of the area to locate the case of the most convenient sources
- analyze the sustainability of projects from both environmental and economic point of view
- show the amministrative procedures and methods of speeding up
- various teaching methods to bring down the initial investments and to recover it in a short time
- training of citizens and experts capable of spreading innovation and good practice in their territory
- promote and disseminate energy saving as the first low-cost source and immediately applicable
- find all possibilities for mitigation of environmental impacts
- show practical examples of systems already implemented
- study the feasibility of projects in progress and under construction
- size of the plants according to the local needs
REGISTRATION The maximum number of partecipants will not be more than 50 people. This is done for organization and logistic reason to ensure high standards of quality of teaching and the care of students. Will be admitted the first to complete the procedures for registration and pay the first tranche. You can pay the last tranche when you will be in Pisa, before the beginning of School . At this moment there are still some places available.
IMPORTANT: Lessons will be in Italian, so partecipants must understand a little this language.

The total amount for the Summer School Residenze Solari 2009 is 490 euros.
The fee includes:
- Lectures in the classroom

- Excursions to relevant places

- 6 nights accommodation in Pisa
- All meals from Sunday evening to lunch on Saturday
